‘She.’ A Sonnet: Day 2 #OctPoWriMo

This is my one and only Sonnet. Hope you like it.

She

.

 Wound up within worthlessness

Boundlessly bold and beautiful
You will tether to your selflessness
Until fatuitous time is vengeful
Paradoxically, you’re selves expressed
They love and leap, they fear and love
Never seeing the other, that one is best
So nothing is finer, though dreams of
Cleaner be the break of hearts, unloved
Lesser be the one who does not see
Fallen is the angle wound up, beloved
Driven is the boundless bold, beauty
Taken in by her many faces
Left withered by their finite traces.

  1. These lines were my favorite:

“Cleaner be the break of hearts, unloved
Lesser be the one who does not see
Fallen is the angle wound up, beloved
Driven is the boundless bold, beauty.”

I am grateful you wrote a sonnet today. I’ve been feeling like writing a pantoum and your form reminded me of that…..
