this is me ..very me..each line of the poem. I make a list ..and most of the time I forget I have make a list and then I have too many a books to read.

How we define ourselves by affirming what we women do and what we do not do. But the greatest affirmation for me in this poem is the way the ending reminds me how we are shaped by those we love. A gentle poem, a loving poem.

Lists of lists – yes, me too. And I leave my shopping lists at home, but the fact of having written them at all usually works.
